  IT Enabled Services - Infrastructure

CITeS Services are based on an end-to-end 100% IP network connecting CITeS center to POPs in London and New York, connected to anywhere in Western Europe and North America.
  

The communication link is via satellite to the POP in London, which is connected to a POP in New York (NY) over a STM1 private leased fiber circuit from Level 3.CITeS is connected to the Internet in NY. The London and NY nodes have the capability to branch out traffic to destinations anywhere in Europe and North America as required.

CITeS will be migrating its backbone links from Satellite to fiber, in alliance with operators of new cables due to hit Indian shores shortly.

CITeS internal call center infrastructure is based on NORTEL Switches and CISCO Routers.
